Location photographer. Getting behind the scenes. Showing off the secret, and not so secret, treasures of the world.
The Vineyard Retreat
“The Vineyard Mclaren Vale is a peaceful and stylish vineyard retreat with distinctive guest houses and cadole’s; each commanding views over South Australia’s most idyllic wine and food region.
An unpretentious wine country escape, ensconced in a working vineyard, the contemporary and well-appointed guest houses are elegant and sophisticated.”
Two shoots for The Vineyard Retreat - each accommodation is unique, and full of elegance and sophistication indeed.
Fleurieu Living Magazine - skate life
A fun shoot for Fleurieu Living Magazine Winter 2021 edition.
Foodland's Mighty recipe shoot - Autumn
This past year has seen me spending more time having laughs, oops working, with Chris and Jo from Pen and Palate. We have been working with Foodland on their recipes for the Mighty magazine - a handy free pickup from your local store.
Chris develops the recipes, and on shoot day, Jo is the whizz in the kitchen while Chris and I make gorgeous photos of them. It's always a fun day, jumping on the table or using the tripod in front (something my physio wants me to do more of). Dancing, singing, laughing, eating... it all creates better photos. Surely?
I love to have fun on a shoot - getting great pics while everyone has fun. Win, win.
West Beach Parks
I have been working with West Beach Parks (formerly Adelaide Shores) for over five years. We have done multiple shoots for the rebrand, when renovations are completed, new accommodation is built, or for a new campaign.
Images: Lifestyle, interiors, exteriors, activities, staff profiles.
Love: The fun involved in photographing kids and adults enjoying the park facilities, especially the pool area where I can get the kids to jump in a number of times.
Not so much love: Making some of the budget, tiny (super skinny and long) bathrooms look inviting. But hey, we did it!
Images are used for a variety of purposes, including website, marketing material, social and corporate.
Some of my fave images from my shoots with West Beach Parks…
Rejuvenation after the fires: Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail
The beauty, magic and experience of hiking the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail after bushfire.
SHOOT: Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail, Kangaroo Island
CLIENT: National Parks and Wildlife, Department for Environment and Water
BRIEF: Post-fire experience. Capture the different vegetation, views and feels of the trail: the experience, the landscape, the feeling. Day hikers experience only.
Two day shoot with two talent in December 2020. Images to show different seasons.
Talent organised through 'heidi who street casting' Facebook page.
Images used by the client, and a variety of media, to promote the trail. Images used in editorials of different publications, magazines and web.
Pertaringa Cellar Door
Inside, outside, on the deck... a two hour shoot at Pertaringa Cellar Door.
Our 'talent' may have been surprised I wanted to photograph them - but they played along well. It's not hard to look happy while enjoying wine anyway. ;)
My pics up big on the Quorn silos
Quorn Silo Light Show. Possibly the biggest I've ever seen my images.
Plus, a couple of others on my wander back to the pub to defrost. Quorn is super pretty at night.

Check it out at heidiwho.com/buy!!!
Why is this site great for you?
These photos are from my travels and shoots around Australia.
They don't look like 'stock photos' and are real.
If you are a business, you may even find I have pics of you ready to go.
You can search via keyword (location, subject, etc.) to save you time looking through loads of photos.
Pricing is super affordable - from $5 an image!
Licencing is for social media use, as many times as you want. You can contact me if you want to use it elsewhere too.
Of course, this is very much a work in progress. I have thousands of images to go through - so if you there is something that you are looking for, email me, and I'll upload it asap (if I have it).
Even more exciting news... at the moment, you can help me build my galleries on the stock photo site!
I have organised shoots through some regions (and more to come). So I want suggestions!!!
Kangaroo Island - TBC late August or mid Sept 2020
Eyre/Yorke Peninsulas - Oct 2020
